General instructions when attending

Please dress in comfortable clothes (old jeans/trousers?) and wearing shoes suitable to drive in. The weather conditions at Goodwood can be extreme on some occasions, so depending on the season please bring the appropriate protective attire as there is no cover.  It is generally possible to park close to the pan so your friends and relatives are welcome to come and watch.  There is a café in the flying school from which you may be able to purchase hot/cold drinks and snacks.

If you cannot make the date when confirmed, (see terms and conditions) or you may substitute another qualified driver, please inform Skid Control of any change at least 24hrs prior to arrival. (a message on the answerphone will suffice). Please note, due to insurance reasons only qualified drivers can participate. (for exceptions please speak to us)

Goodwood Motor Circuit, is just north of Chichester (Sussex). Exit the A27 east of Chichester, follow the signposts "Goodwood", "Aerodrome" or "Motor Circuit", continue past the Ramada Hotel and then left at roundabout (RR factory), quarter mile turn left into the main entrance "Goodwood Motor Circuit”, proceed straight ahead under the tunnel then follow the road around to the left toward the flying school. Approx 50 metres before the flying school, turn left into the paddock area. See Skid Control sign on white briefing hut, in corner of paddock (If you drive past the flying school you have gone to far) During race meetings you may be directed to an alternative parking area, if so, proceed with care on foot to hut..

Should you approach from the north (Singleton Village) you will pass Goodwood Race Course then the Golf Course, at small roundabout follow "Motor Circuit" signs then after approx 150 metres turn right through the main entrance.
