ANTI-SKID TUITION FOR INDIVIDUALS As well as improving your basic driving skills. A course of instruction can increase your confidence and enable you to put the trauma of an accident behind you. Supportive tuition in controlled conditions. All designed to create a feeling of well being and confidence. All of our course are suitable for experienced and new drivers. We try to have an automatic training vehicle available on "A" & "B" courses if ordered in advance
The Platinum* anti-skid course Available for two people booking together (discounted rate applicable). Alternatively can be taken over 2 hours on a one to one basis. All of our anti-skid tuition sessions are well established as excellent courses for teaching the detection and control of front & rear wheel skids, some courses also including emergency braking techniques. However we have for some time been asked by our customers for more experience and support in handling excessive slides under controlled conditions. Therefore we developed the Platinum course to cover this extra criteria. The use of two cars set up dynamically different during the session and the extra time to practice the skills being taught are a major feature of this course. Undoubtedly those drivers who have high performance cars would benefit from this form of tuition to increase their feel for a car in a slide. As in all our courses the training is undertaken at a relatively low speed in excessively slippery conditions to build confidence and skill. CONTENT An in depth classroom session covering vehicle dynamics in relation to skids their cause and control and vehicle handling in general. Followed by a practical demonstration from the instructor covering the classroom theory. Then you will be coached in the finer points of car control including power slides, as well as covering the basics of front and rear wheel skid detection and control + braking techniques. To finish, a classroom de-brief will be held and certificates issued, proving participation in this valuable course of instruction.
*This course is available on a one to one basis over a 2hrs session or for 3hrs on a two to one basis
THE PLATINUM PLUS A training session taken by one of our race experienced trainers and covers all the main skid issues that may be encountered on the race track whilst in competition. Covering such elements as understeer, oversteer, drifting. Most suitable for drivers racing rear drive vehicles in particular. This course will take you so the extremes within the usual safe (slippery) parameters offered by Skid Control in all its courses. This course is mainly run on weekdays and last for a minimum of 2h30min

COURSE "A" (one to one tuition) This popular course covers front and rear wheel skids, plus braking techniques. For new and experienced drivers. As the name implies you have your own instructor for one hour of intensive instruction using one of our vehicles set up to simulate skids at speeds in excess of 50 mph, even though you are only travelling at 10 to 12 mph on the wet skid surface. COURSE “B” SHARED TUITION (for two)
For two people who would enjoy shared tuition. Based on the one to one course it covers all the same skills but lasts for approx 90 minutes. Also favoured by training organisations for incorporation into their safer driving courses. Both the "A" & "B" course have a certificate of achievement presented.
