have been Instructing in the West Sussex & Hampshire area, this has
gained me vast experience with a wide range of Pupils,
Additional to Instructing Pupils to Drive Safely for Life I am a
registered “Pass Plus” Instructor, which many Car Insurers offer
Discounts when the Course is completed.
I am also a
Registered Trainer ( Orbit ) for Other Driving Instructor’s who wish to
become qualified or need help to prepare for their Check Test.

Despite having held my licence for some 30 years; my husband did all the driving for the last 20 or so years. My husband passed away last year and I found myself having to drive again. I was very nervous with the amount of traffic, motorways and having to park. I met Gavin in Farnborough town centre and we talked about my situation and he put me at ease. Gavin was very friendly and understanding, he taught me how to drive on motorways, how to park and just built my confidence up. Recently I drove to Southampton with my friends for the day. Before I started to learn with Gavin, I had taken 3 tests and hadn’t driven for nearly 3 years. After a nasty car crash, I was extremely nervous and very scared of driving. He put me at ease by making me laugh and gently introducing me back into different manoeuvres and driving techniques. Within a couple of months I had not only passed my theory again but also passed my test – my first test with Gavin. He fitted in around my work which as an older learner was important but also gave me the confidence to drive the way I never thought I could.
