DRIVER SAFETY, ALL WEATHER  TRAINING

Be ready for rain, snow, ice etc.

These training modules will teach you the skills necessary to detect problems earlier and then take the appropriate action to control your vehicle in slippery and adverse driving conditions. We are not in the business of teaching you to skid, but  through our teaching methods we ensure you have a better understanding of how to detect earlier the elements that will cause a skid, and be able to react quickly and drive safer.

"A skid is a loss of traction from a vehicle’s wheels, which can cause it to move uncontrollably."

"A" One Hour one to one tuition:

One to One tuition for an hour for new or experienced driver covers front & rear wheel skids plus emergency braking demonstration. Using our vehicle you will be taught in a safe environment how to detect the onset of a skid and deal with it simply and efficiently. Courses available mainly at weekends. Certificate issued.

"B" 90 minute two to one tuition:

Two to One tuition for 90 minutes for two new or experienced drivers (sharing) covers front & rear wheel skids, plus emergency braking demonstration. Using our vehicle you will be taught in a safe environment how to detect the onset of a skid and deal with it simply and efficiently. Courses available mainly at weekends. Certificate issued.

"B+" Two hours for up to four people:

Covering all the same criteria as the "A" course but for up to four people sharing. This course available weekends & weekdays and runs for 2rs. Certificate issued.

"C" Three hour sessions for up to six people (option for up to 12 people available):

For up to six drivers. Ideal training course for companies, clubs, family groups. A three hour session covering front & rear wheel skid detection and control techniques. Using our vehicle you will be taught in a safe environment how to detect the onset of a skid and deal with it simply and efficiently. After a short classroom session covering skid and causes, you will be given a brief demostration by the trainer who will then proceed to instruct the participants for the duration of the pan time, everyone taking turns at the wheel and swopping over on a regular basis to offer piggy back tuition. This training is appropriate for fleet operators and can be an invaluable way to reduce accidents due to bad road and weather conditions. Certificate issued.

"Platinum" extended in depth tuition for one to two people:

In depth tuition covering front and rear wheel skid detection and control using a car set up in a neutral fashion, to promote skids at the front or rear depending on driver use. Second car then used to promote more rear wheel skid and encourage control. This course is available weekdays and weekends. Lasts for two hours minimum. (two hrs with two sharing) Certificate issued.

Courses available to suit numbers and your budget, which can include road courses to improve driver safety and fuel economy, plus 'all weather' driver training at our 'wet surface' skid pan facility at Goodwood, West Sussex - Please Call or Email with your requirements for a quote.

All anti-skid tuition given on a real skid surface in very slippery safe low speed conditions and using our vehicles.

We are able to offer anti-skid tuition using the purpose built wet skid pan surface for one to twelve people most weekdays and weekends. Fleet training and advanced driver training also provided.
